Smoke: the legacy of tobacco in rural Victoria

I was really pleased to have this ‘long read’ essay accepted by Overland. It is the result of some fieldwork and interviews in Myrtleford (alpine Victoria) last year (2018), to follow up Sophie Cartwright’s research about the impacts of the closure of the tobacco industry and the illegal tobacco trade (chop chop)
